New Photosensitive Book “Picture Change” published and available

In the summer of 2013, the new Photosensitive book, “Picture Change” was published containing photographs and brief biographies of nearly 100 of some of Canada’s finest photographers including Irene Borins Ash. As stated in the foreword to the book: “Each photograph changed something…Each image changed the photographer; it often changed the life of the people in the photograph, and now, it has the power to change you.” The book is based on an exhibit currently being shown in various parts of Toronto and thereafter in other locations in Canada.

“Rewire your Thinking about Aging” – Elder Summit, Peterborough, Ontario, June 2013

The exhibit entitled “Aging is Living” will be up for viewing from Saturday June 1, 2013 to Wednesday June 19, 2013 at The Gardens of Peterborough Retirement Communities, Princess Gardens, 100 Charlotte Street, Peterborough. Irene will be speaking at that location to health care professionals and families of residents on Wednesday June 19, 2013.

Exhibit at the University of Guelph – Humber : New Dates

On Monday October 22, 2012 to Friday November 9, 2012, 25 photos and 25 texts from Irene’s book “Aging Is Living- Myth Breaking Stories From Long Term Care” Dundurn Press 2009 will be on exhibit in the gallery at the University of Guelph – Humber, 207 Humber College Boulevard, Toronto.

The exhibit is wonderful for seniors, their adult children and social work and gerontology students.

The exhibit is an inspirational and educational look at life in long term care.

The Photo Sensitive “Energy Project” Exhibit

On display at Brookfield Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto, ON from November the 28th to December the 9th, 2011; daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
